Compact and ergonomically designed, the AVOV PreMio Pro PS-2442 is a 4-in-1 wireless presenter that is handy for presentations as well as when playing music or video on Windows Media Player. Weighing a mere 63.2 g, the PS-2442 features a candy bar shape with white exterior and purple buttons. At the base of the AVOV is a USB receiver dongle and battery compartment that holds two AA batteries. The PreMio Pro PS-2442 can be difficult to operate if you did not first refer to the user's manual. You need to change the mode of the AVOV via the function button whereby an orange or a blue LED will light up to indicate the appropriate mode it is in. The USB receiver dongle is to be inserted into the USB port of the PC for the PreMio Pro PS-2442 to synchronise. There are no drivers to install, and in both Presentation and Multimedia modes, you can control the movement of the cursor with the big round rubber button at the centre of the wireless presenter. Controlling the cursor is somewhat tedious as you need to press quite hard and precise using the thumb, similar to using a pointing stick of a notebook; sometimes you may even need to use your fingernails to operate the controls. On the whole, the AVOV PreMio Pro PS-2442 works very well like it is designed for. You can change your presentation slides easily, use the laser pointer to emphasise the salient points and even change to multimedia mode like you would use a wireless multimedia remote control.
